"Branson's Veterans Homecoming Week, America's largest Veterans Day celebration, beginning November 5 and running through November 11, is a special and exciting time for us in Branson," said Randi McCormick, Group Sales Director for Branson Tourism Center. "It gives us a special, dedicated opportunity to honor Veterans, active duty Armed Forces personnel, and their families in a way that goes above beyond Branson's recognition of them on a daily basis. We have a large number of events this year; you'll find details on each here on this dedicated web page."

The Village, in Building One at Ballparks of America Complex, 1000 Pat Nash Drive, Nov. 5-10, offers veterans a free lunch in its mess hall, a USO canteen-style Day Room with live music and Vendor Village, a unique shopping experience for former and present day military personnel.
While veterans come to the Village to register to participate in the numerous discounts Branson businesses offer them, it also provides them and their families a place to shop for memorabilia, patches, hats, books and organizations that provide information for veterans and their loved ones.
Vendor Village gives returning traders an opportunity to visit with friends they have met through their participation.
Brenda Meadows, BVTF board chairperson, said the non-profit organization’s annual event provides veterans a place to gather for many reasons.
“Veterans Village is there to make heroes of our freedom feel welcomed, appreciated and accepted.” Meadows said. “BVTF wants to make their visits to Branson a special time to remember, as well as highlight Branson’s heart towards honoring past, present and future military personnel.”

For the twenty first year, the traveling Vietnam Veterans Memorial, known as "The Wall," will be on display and open to the public for viewing at the Welk Resort Branson during the 2018 Veterans Homecoming celebration, November 5-10, 2018. The official half-scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, the most visited memorial in Washington, D.C., spans nearly 240 feet in length and lists the more than 58,000 names of the nation's fallen heroes in the Vietnam conflict.
In 2013, after sponsoring the memorial for 17 years, The Welk Resort Branson purchased the memorial, insuring that it will be displayed for many years to come. "We are always so honored to be able to present this beautiful memorial to our guests and friends in the community," says Susan Smith, General Manager of Welk Resort Branson. "Seeing the names of those who gave everything in the service of their country is an emotional experience, and one that we are proud to present. We invite the community, and of course our veterans to come and experience The Wall."
The Wall is available for public viewing from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM November 5-10. A special locator book will be available to assist visitors in finding specific names.
