Buffalo Ridge Valley Course (formerly Murder Rock Golf Club) is an 18-hole championship golf course that enhances the magnificent landscape of the Ozark Mountains by incorporating the natural beauty of the land with lush fairways and pristine greens. The course was originally designed by Landmark Land Company, who for over three decades has been the leader in developing America's best loved golf course communities including Oak tree, La Quinta, PGA West and Kiawah Island.
Buffalo Ridge Valley Course is currently undergoing renovations under the visionary eye of John Morris to offer new challenges and a dynamic golf experience only Big Cedar can provide, complete with magnificent views of the Ozarks landscape. The course plays to a par 71 and ranges in length from 6,727 yards from the tournament tees to 5,627 yards from the forward tees. It has been presented with numerous accolades from major golf publications. In 2010, GOLFWEEK named Murder Rock Golf Club as one the Top 40 New Courses in the United States, and in 2011 and 2013, it was awarded one of the "Best Courses You Can Play" by GOLFWEEK as well as being ranked the #4 Course in the state.
Buffalo Ridge Valley Course is currently closed for the 2015/2016 season for renovations. Check back for future opening information.
